I wanted to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the readers of the blog at Leadership and Values in Action, LLC! When I began this project a year ago, it was on the heels of what was a very traumatic, life-changing experience. I didn’t have a vision for what I wanted and I had a cursory idea of how to do a professional blog.
What it has become is something that reflects some new and emerging values of service, vulnerability and courage. Every time I have posted a blog I was both skeptical and amazed that anyone would read what I was writing. But feedback has told me that my stories – very personal and very real – have been a great mirror for people.
I was also very surprised to see that my blog isn’t just a US-domestic product, but instead has readers from around the world. To you, I hope that you have found some of my experiences relatable. If you wish to see more content you believe would be helpful to you back home, let me know!

There are going to exciting changes and additions at the end of the summer. Plus I’ll have a new book about how to deal with the closure of a college. I hope you all stick around to see what this will become!
